Brahim has over 15 years of investing experience in several asset classes. He leads the sourcing and execution of our investments and sits on the Fund’s investment committee. He has developed an expertise in several sectors, including healthcare and education. Brahim is also very active with portfolio companies post investment and implements our value add model to the investee companies. Brahim has lead our healthcare investments in T2S, Oncorad, Steripharma as well as our investment in Trarem.
Prior to CDG Capital Private Equity, Brahim spent over 10 years at Goldman Sachs in London as an Executive Director. He started there in investment banking (mergers and acquisitions), then moved to private equity and finally, he became a trader in equity derivatives where he was running the industrial, automotive, utilities, pharma, media and telcos trading team.
Brahim is passionate about the education sector and is teaching Private Equity Case Studies at Ecole Centrale Casablanca (a leading engineering school) and ISCAE (a leading business school). He graduated with a Masters in engineering in France from Ecole Polytechnique and from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
