Laila joined CDG Capital Private Equity in 2007. As an Investment Director, she participated in the fundraising and structuring of Fonds Capital Carbon Maroc, led the carbon investment transactions with project developers in the wind and land fill gas sectors, while partnering with international funds. She was also in charge of managing the relationship with institutional investors. In 2012, she joined the private equity team where she focused on fundraising and carrying private equity investments in sectors such as water engineering, construction and installation and field services.
Prior to joining CDG Capital Private Equity, Laila spent four years at General Electric in the energy divisions where she first took several financial controlling positions in the UK and Italy and later held the role of treasury manager and project finance manager in the French subsidiary of GE Energy.
Laila holds an MBA from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and a Master’s degree from EM Lyon.
